Once again, another hiccup with this engine swap!
The problem is that the 518 I have ('95) has a grey back on the instrument cluster whereas the donor 525 (either late '93 or early '94) has a blue back which I'm wanting to use so that the RPM is correct. (Also temp gauge isn't budging past the initial small move once the key is turned, but that may change once it is driven, as that was the same when I had the 1.8 in it?)
Problem is that the grey back only had 2 connectors, whereas the blue back has 4 which none of the 2 fit into...
Are there other plugs hiding behind the dash meaning I'll have to take the whole dash out?
Can it not be swapped? Do I need to do more loom changes if I want it to work?
