Spring Compressor recommendations

I ruined a spring compressor from Autozone due to the oblong shape of the front springs. Can anyone recommend where to pick up one that is better suited to our cars? I’ve seen different types, but I’m not looking to drop $300 on one nor do I want to spend $100 to find out it’s useless.

The OTC ones I have (model is 7294) work fine. You just can't grab the ends of the front springs with them, but you can grab and compress a large enough portion of the spring to get the struts de-tensioned. Just have to kinda feel it out as far as where on the springs they need to go to attach properly / safely.
