e55 n73 dme has no " name, sgbd, group" information

    Hello,

I am using INPA 5.02 and ncexpert 3.x on win 7 xp sp3 compatible mode.

So far, can do some job, scan, clear code. Etc. Also coded the SSFA without occupant sensor. Overall, I think INPA and cable's setup is correctly.

But, I always get "sys0012, identification error" when checking the N73 engine. I have no problem on N62.

INPA can still read DTC from DDE and clear it. Also, INPA can access VVT.

I managed identifying DDE by INPA, and tried " identify function " from tool32. Both returned the ECU DDE has no "name, SGBD, nor group" information. However, DDE come with correct vin associated on 2015 from UIF. It seems this DDE had gone through some update.

Since there is no "name, SGBD nor GROUP". So it is making sense that INPA is complainting "sys0012 " identification error and INPA does not know what module to be used ( not sure which prg, grp, ipo).

I tried using ncexpert but DME/DDE is not in the list from pull down bar.

Besides DDE, the only other module has this issue is MMC, which is having a different vin.

How am I going to solve this problem? What was the reason these information were missing?
