Door wiring 92 coupe

hi, the wiring in my doors have been cut by previous owner, so am looking to replace it. can I use whatever (coupe, sedan, any year) as long as its from a e36?

Use caution, mid MY 1996 (and later) cars got door side airbags.
And stay with Coupe or Sedan as the lengths will be different.

Thanks. So if i understand correct, both sedan and coupe wiring uptil 1996 will be direct fit?🙂

Coupe and Sedan wiring is going to be different due to the length of the doors being different, coupes are longer @ ~48 1/2, with Sedans @ ~42 1/2

did manage to find a few (ex. 94-95) wire looms, but it seem the connector for the window "engine" is much smaller than the one for 92-93 cars (my car).
is there a way to fit it for my car regardless? maybe change the connector? the window engine on my car has 2 points for connectors, one small and one big.

Use the last seven of your VIN in www.realoem.com.

Poke around the electrical section, perhaps you can find the connector and splice it in.

Alternatively look for part outs on your local Craigslist and FB.

Yeah, most likely i will have to splice something, the harness for my car is hard to find. Believe they produced it for one year or so.
