New E92 330i Owner - First modification ...

Hi all,

New E92 owner 330i (N53) owner and forum member saying hi!

I've had my E92 for a couple of weeks now, full service and detail are now complete and i think its time for the first mod!

So, being disappointed by the current exhaust setup, wanted some advise based on my search on the forum.

1. Secondary CAT delete + Performance Exhaust Muffler (Resonator still in place) - Love the sound of this but PE seems very expensive and hard to find used in the UK
2. Secondary CAT delete + Stock Muffler (Resonator still in place) - Not sure how this will sound? would it burble?
3. Secondary CAT delete + Muffler delete (Resonator still in place) - would this be too loud? Is it civic loud?

I've heard deleting the resonator makes it drone, so I would reframe from doing that and it has no performance gain? I really don't want it that loud (just a bit more) but am ideally after burble/crackles from time to time on overruns. Not too 'boy racer'.

What did you end up going with?

As im looking at the Friedrich Motorsport 70mm backbox, but not sure how loud it will be with all teh cats etc.
