need help with microsquirt conversion

i am really wanting to micro-squirt my 1989 BMW 535i (M30) and i'm wondering what i'm going to need for a complete/successful install. any help is appreciated!

What's a micro-squirt?

It's a baby megasquirt (you've heard of them right?). Seems they stripped a lot of functions from a megasquirt in order to sell something cheap with a lot of limitations that also requires a lot of user supplied parts.

No idea why you'd want to install an aftermarket EFI on a non modified engine though. First come the turbo and then comes the haltech

Got it. So is the micro still programmable to some extent? I would imagine that it's cheaper too.

it is cheaper but ive been looking at the megasquirt 2 v3.0 kits and they arent much pore
