Hoping someone on here has changed their rims for other BMW rims with the smaller 37ish MM offset vs. the 43 standard rims. I did a search and could not find any threads. There are a TON of 17"x 7 or 8 inch BMW rims available with most having a 37mm offset. Am I thinking about this wrong or would this just push the wheels out less than 1/2 inch ? Seems like it would be a good look and on my 2001 Z3 I know there is room in back for that. Anyone having run a smaller offset please chime in and let me know if I am ok to do this. Thanks all !
Et 37 on an 8 inch is really close to the strut in the front. I don’t have stock suspension though. May be different with stock.
7 in might work in the front.
Back should not be a problem.
Check out YouTube for how to measure. Will save you the trouble of guessing...

I use www.willtheyfit.com plus physical measuring the gaps between the wheels, body, and suspension components. A lot of the wheel specs affect one another in ways that the site makes it easy to compare visually.
