Hi so I just got some Billstien PSS9 coilovers and Vorshlag camber plates with oem perches. The issue is when I installed the plates on the struts and tightened the top nut the top plate doesn’t rotate at all and instead the strut shaft rotates inside the body of the strut. Is this normal for new coilovers or is it something I should look into more? Thanks!
The end of the piston shaft should have a hex or an inverted hex for an allen wrench or socket to hold the shaft while spinning on the nut, or just use an impact by itself

I got it tight with the Allen key and a open ended wrench. The problem is after I did that the top plate of the camber plate won’t rotate without rotating the strut shaft as well.
Bump
That sounds normal to me, the upper plate is still fixed to the strut tower with a nut right? The shaft should move freely inside the housing so it should be fine rotating slightly with the plates
