4:3 Navigation Display & 16:9 Navigation Display Upgrade With MK2 Module Is Possible

My First Post On The Site This Has Probably Been Covered Somewhere Else Before
I Just Wanted To Make This Post To Let Everyone Know It Is Possible To Upgrade From The 4:3 Navigation Display To The 16:9 Navigation Display Using The MK2 GPS Navigation Module Located In The Trunk.
The Only Caviet I Have Noticed Is That It MAY Be Depended On What Software Version You Are Running On Your System I Had 2 MK2 Units One Running SW 2-1/18 Which Would Not Adapt To 16:9 Display No Matter What And One Running SW 2-1/70 Which Adapted Immediately To 16:9 Display

People Will Say In Order To Do The Upgrade You Need A MK3 Or MKIV Which Is True But Now It’s Been Proven It’s Not Because The MK2 Is Not Compatible. You Will Get A Rolling/Scrolling/Flickering Screen Whichever Best Describes It. Will Try To Post Pictures

Disconnecting The Battery For 15 Minutes , Unplugging Navigation Module For 15 Minutes, And Switching Back And Forth Between 16:9 Display And 4:3 Display On MK2 Running SW 2-1/18 All Did Not Work.

If All Else Fails Try Doing A Software Update, Although I’ve Read Somewhere That Updating These MK2 Sometimes “Bricks” Them. Also I Wouldnt Go To The Highest/Latest Version Because If You Run Into An Error It’s Impossible (So I’ve Read) To Downgrade Or Reinstall The Same Version Without Modifying Hex Keys (So I’ve Read)

When I Was Researching This Specific Question I Couldn’t Get A Yes Or No Answer
