    succesfull day with supercharger mapping

finally we got a satisfying mapping on the charger but to rich.... and omg, that counts !
with a average WOT AFR of 10.5 we had 375 HP
    11.5 417
    12.5 435 ! ( and 587 NM )

Inlet manifold we have 0.5 bar at 6000 rpm . ( we lose 0.1 bar due intercooler )
Raptor charger is spinning a factor x 3.1 , max according fabricator should be x 3 . ( 6000 engine = 18.000 charger) but street driven one goes very rarely over 5.800. Even 5.500 limit looks more "used" .. so i could go x 3.3 as a next project ( 500 rpm sooner the torque)

Very happy with the results …. and a 850 as BMW should have build it ! A world of different driving experience.

Still some work around idle ( lean spot between idle and 1000 rpm ) and engine stalls frequent coming from high rev's. Not when i gradually let it go down , than it idles.

    Me happy

Sounds like you are making some good progress with tuning! I wish my engine was making that kind of power.

DME's mapping and now also the Wokke V1 EML , tested the V2 but found it "to" aggressive in gas respons.... probably due combination with supercharger.
We are to test also with less advance in higher rpm ( = boost) ... above 4500 rpm we get a strange exhaust noise , not so nice as before that rpm range .... as we have misfires ( spark blow out ? ) or , what we hope, to much advance.

Be sure to set your trim correctly for the injectors or all your work will be for naught once the ECU does it's "adaptations" in 2-3 days. Yes, these ECU's do have trim.
Your higher RPM noise is pinging - either too lean or too much timing... likely a lean condition.

i don't think "lean" as we have above 4500 rpm both banks AFR 12.5 .
So i think to much timing …. i hope

Yes, basically the mid and high part throttle maps need to be set up as close to 0 trim as possible, otherwise ECU will take the trim it does on those maps and throw it onto the long term trim on the WOT map.... That is the most difficult thing about tuning these ecus, but once you start to understand the process it becomes easier.
2 laptops have to be used for tuning mid maps, one with INPA to monitor the trim.
