Hello all, I have searched and searched and haven't really found many people commenting on F10 535i reliability over 100k miles. I've seen some yay I've made it to 100k threads which isn't terribly reassuring lol. I've looked for a while and found a 535i with m-sport package I'm strongly considering taking a look at. I don't have a long commute (like 12 miles one way lol) so I'm not going to be racking up miles fast but I still don't want to have to worry about reliability too much and have an expectation of being able to make it to 150k without anything major. I'm an expert level mechanic and can fix anything I need to, but I also have 2 young kids and don't have the time or the desire to do so after a lifetime of wrenching on all kinds of stuff and building 2 custom cars. I'm ok with doing quick stuff, but don't have time to pull the engine or anything now.
So anyways, if there are positive stories of F10 535i's in the higher mile range y'all have to give me more confidence on this, please fire away :-).

I purchased mines almost a year ago with 63k. Now I’m pushing 78 and is planning on keeping this car for at least the next 4 years. I’m interested in hearing others ppl experiences at higher mileage.

Basically it comes down to cost of repair for even normal wear & tear items. They can start showing up in the 90,000 plus range. Parts are not cheap but the cost of labor can be very high as sometimes many parts must be removed to access the area you want. If you are mechanically inclined and possess the proper tools, then you can keep your car for high miles. Most of us can't.
