I have a 08 535XI.
I'm having misfires in all cylinders at random it's not at any specific time either but it usually won't happen in low range or high range I could put the pedal to the metal and go from 40 to 160 and not have a single hiccup but if I do it at like half throttle I get hiccups I've gotten the fuel pressure notification on the infotainment center I brought it to mechanic who said it might just be a sensor the injectors were done on the car less than 5K ago. I don't think it's the spark plugs or coil packs because it's at random different cylinders every time. I was told that an ECU flash might fix my issue but I'm not a hundred percent sure I'm going to attempt mhd stage one flash tomorrow to see if that helps I have no warranty so I'm not voiding anything. I have a muffler delete but I don't think that would cause misfires I really don't know what to do at this point.
Sorry for the format I'm on mobile and I'm using talk to text
Don't down play spark plugs there changed every 45k and what are the faults
I had issues at full throttle on my 08 535xi. Changed the coils. Happened after I installed a JB4. The extra boost increased cylinder pressure and that required a hotter spark.
Have you ever cleaned the goo out of your intake runners and walnut blasted the remaining carbon?
