Hi All, I Have Got The Dreaded Airbag Light On.
iDrive States That It's The Passenger Airbag, Although A Scan Bought Up "96CC, Passengers Thorax Airbag Open Circuit"
(don't know if the germans bothered changing it for right hand drives?)
Have Tried Clearing The Error But It Comes Back Imediatlly.
I've Pulled Both Front Door Cards Off, Reseated All The Connections (inc airbag obviously)
I've Got Continuity On All The Cables, But Both Airbags Are Measuring 1.8 Ohms Initilly Then Drop To 0.8 Very Quickly (measuring the airbag itself unplugged)
This Is Starting To Drive Me Mad, Has Anyone Had This Problem At All ?
And If So Did You Work Out A Solution.
If you have the correct multi-meter, it's fine. I specifically bought a Fluke 87 for that reason. I certainly wouldn't be testing them with any other meter unless I knew for sure it was approved to do so.
