Speed sensor and brake pad wear sensor socket connectors

Hi guys, doing the bushing job on the rear end...1999 Z3 coupe 2.8

The speed sensor and brake wear sensor socket connectors on the rear right wheel (on the inside of the junction at the trailing arm) broke on me. :/

Basically crumbled as I pulled them apart. Pretty sure they are the original parts on the car.

By the "inside" I mean not the part that goes to the wheel but from the trailing arm in to the fuse box (guessing that is where it ends up?)

Anyone know the parts need to fix this right? Searched realoem.com and here but not finding anything definitive.

You'll need to go to your local junk yard/pull a part and get the connectors off an old car. They are also used on E36's as well as Z3's, so the range of suitable cars is wider.

There is only one thing more pleasurable than working on a Z3, that's driving it top down on a fine day.

    Roger that, Muzz258.

Is the part NLA or was it never available?

ECS Tuning usually has them. It involves removing the two wires with the pins attached and simply inserting them into the new plug.

Look over this thread, especially starting at Post #8: https://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/s...Sensor-Harness

Thank you, sir. You just potentially saved me a lot of time. I've ordered a new clip. I'll update here once I attempt to get it fitted.
