Originally purchased from England and installed on my USA 1995 E34 525i.

• It is a direct bolt-on to factory threaded holes. No drilling or welding required.
• The lower plastic bumper fascia was trimmed to match the opening size of E34 European opening.
• OEM Westfalia 303 078 towbar and E34 are rated at 1500kg (3,307 lbs) towing capacity.
• Towbar has been restored and painted.
• Ball is 50mm diameter and fits 2” standard US receiver perfectly.
• A tandem wheel 12-foot U-Haul trailer was towed 2,140 mi from CA to FL in 2018. Trailer tracked perfectly and towbar was rock solid. Curt wiring harness worked perfectly.

Includes:

• Three keys, all factory mounting bolts and reinforcing plates.
• E34 Curt 55146 wiring harness, Curt 55151 in-line fuse and instructions.
• Two safety rings welded to hitch for safety chain attachment.
• Original BMW European trailer connector and wiring have been left in place.
