Radio won’t turn on to code mode.

Just bought the car a week ago. Seller said stock radio went out with battery change. This morning I pulled it out to get serial number on back. When I started the car, radio came on asking for code. Since I was on my way to the dealer for said code, I just turned it off. Now that I have said code, the damn thing won’t show any signs of life😢. What kind of song and dance do I need to do now? Help!

There may be a sticker on the side of the glove box with the code on it. I can't remember if its on the inside or the outside of glove box side but I'm almost positive it's there somewhere.

You may have to do it in the dark so you can see the display. I think the dash light dimmer controls the brightness of the radio display too.
