Exclamation Help! which oil to use?

Greetings everyone, I just got a new car other than my 320i. and I was wondering which oil should I use since the manual offers to many options to choose from (be aware that I live in a really hot climate around 55c).

The option in the manual are

    20W-50
    15W-40
    10W-30
    5W-30
    5W-40

Will they all perform the same in hot weather or no? because the chart shows that all of them reach 50C.

To answer your question we need more details like model and built year.
    This is not enough

also 320 does not help much, there are 320 E30, E36......which engine?
built year, model. Pls update your profile.
In the profile there should be model, type, built year/month

Oh sorry man, for my 320i 4 Cylinder I use what's recommend by the manual which is 5w-30, but my other new car is a Kia cadenza 6 cyl and the manual have 6 oil options as followed

    20W-50
    15W-40
    10W-30
    5W-30
    5W-40

i was thinking of using the same velocity as my BMW which is 5W-30 but I don't know if it's better to use it over 5W-40 because the environment that I live in is very hot 55c but my BMW seems to handle heat well with 5W-30 but I'm not sure about Kia.

4 cylinder BMW engines there are many https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_BMW_engines

Anyway, I understand that you are looking for engine oil for a Kia Cadenza 6-cylinder engine for hot country.
Castrol says for a Kia Cadenza, VG (2013-2016) 5W30 https://applications.castrol.com/oil...3-3-(2013-2016)

    http://kia.oilsr.us/cadenza/2014-3.3L-7/
Maximum Performance Signature Series 5W-30 Synthetic Motor Oil (ASLQT)
Performance Plus XL 5W-30 Synthetic Motor Oil (XLFQT)
Performance OE 5W-30 Synthetic Motor Oil (OEFQT)
    Above 0 F » 10W-30
    All TEMPS » 5W-30, 5W-40

your owners manual says: For better fuel economy, it is recommended to use the engine oil of a viscosity grade SAE 5W-30 (API Service SM / ILSAC GF-4 / ACEA A5). However, if the engine oil is not available in your country, select the proper engine oil using the engine oil viscosity chart https://www.manualslib.com/manual/63....html?page=403

Yes Exactly, I will include attachment for my ownder manual oil types so you can see the 5 different oils they added. I'm thinking of going with the 5W-40 if available if not I will go with 5W-30.

5W30 synthetic is a good choice for a street driven car. My next choice would be 0W40 or 5W40. I don’t think you need the thicker oils unless maybe the car is a track car or you live in the desert and drive flat out most of the time.
