Hello, i arrived to a DOA battery 2 weeks ago. Replaced battery (was 3 years old). I can hear clicking under the hood. So i know there is an electric draw. Started pulling all fuses from trunk, no change. But did repair the 3 broken wires at left trunk hinge (light and electric release now work). Today (fuse panel in glove box) isolated fuse #8 (Engine management) & Fuse #17 (Active Steering) as the draw. Removed the two fuses from glove box and draw removed. My question, is there a common (splice or module) that powers both these fuses? I am guessing a possible bad splice in harness, as this issue started after a large rain storm. 3rd owner of car, so i do not know of the repair history. Trouble free the past 2 years & now i am looking at electric?? Any pointers, i have dvom & very mechanical. Retired and have my own time frame.
Looking at https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/e...-fuse/AFw8MHGo
gives quick diagram, but want to know were it the ground for circuit?
