Right now I don't use my a/c much, when I do its usually just on the highway but I prefer the way the car driver without it. I am starting my turbo build and am wondering if its going to make things a lot easier to get rid of it. Those who have gotten rid of it, did you regret it? I only drive this car strictly for fun, typically only on weekends.
Texas with no AC? Definitely easier to get rid of it. I have kept mine, but I like to be comfortable when I drive my car. I think I would drive it less if it did not have AC.
I have taken my front clip off today and am just wondering how it will fit. I don't even have my turbo kit here yet to see but it doesn't look like there is any space...
Is the kit made for AC? Some are.
I still enjoy my A/C when it’s hot here.

I'm mainly removing the AC components since it's becoming a track car. To stay cool while traveling to and during track events, I'm going to set up a coolshirt system.

I did everything in my power to keep the A/C and I'm glad I did. I'm running a bottom mount with an SPA manifold and cut the frame rail in front of the strut tower to fit a 3.5" inlet pipe for the turbo. A lot of people will mount a pod filter right by the turbo down low and not run it to the top but I didn't want to have the air filter that low.

With CES manifold, I am still running A/C and that was definitely a pre-req for me. In fact, when I upgraded back in the day from the AA stage I turbo to stage II, it included a modified AC bracket to retain the compressor

I got tired of working around the AC stuff, so I took it out. But originally wanted to keep it.
I have a vert though, so not a big deal to me
