Hi All!
I have 2004's E60, M54.
When a speed of 100 km/h is reached, the car happily plays gong and gives error "Cruise control fault". If at that moment the cruise was turned on, then it goes off, and I can't turn it on until the engine is restarted. If cruise control was not engaged, it simply does not turn on until the engine is restarted.
In DME, the error "12111 2F4F Fahrzeuggeschwindigkeit, Plausibility", P-Code: P0503 Vehicle Speed Sensor 'A' Intermittent/Erratic/High is recorded. I rearranged the rear ABS sensors, no effect. Wiring, ABS sensor contacts, DSC and DME block connectors checked, everything is normal. Monitoring of ABS sensors values on run gives following data immediately before gong:

I rushed through the Internet and found many topics with a similar problem, but no one wrote that managed to solve it. There are hints to replacing the DSC unit, but there is no evidence that this will resolves the issue. There is a feeling that the problem can only be treated by replacing the car
.
Currently I'm planning to change DSC and DME units.
Has somebody encounters this issue? If you can solve it, how? If can't solve, what did you try?
