I recently changed my dme because it’s failed ( harness short ) , change it with a suit of dme ews and key , the car works but it has new codes of ventilation valve of tank and another one ( code 1,2 ) I think my car dose not have these sensors .
Also I have decrease eco
Can I reprogram the new dme to have the old vin ?
I hear about changing a chip ( putting the old dme chip to the new one) any idea?

You can't do it but Dima (Dudmd ) who you can locate on this website or facebook does it...............
You could try and code that stuff out but there would be a big learning curve and a risk of killing the new DME. Dima would be the safe bet but you would have to give him specifics of what you want coded out.

No need for Dima here. If you already replaced the DME EWS and key and its running, you most likely used a DME from a 540 or an x5 and you can just flash it with the correct 740 software using WinKFP. If you want to put the original ews and key back into the picture then you will need to contact Dima to assist with virginizing the replacement DME...
