I put a set through an ultrasonic cleaner, and new orings and filters. But there was no known problem when I started.

Got a decent price on a set on 96+ spindles. Tired of the rotor rubbing the LCA, and having to shim so much to get to -4deg camber.
It also felt good checking the wear on the SLRspeed hardware. All looks good.

You are worried about the 1.5 it's of weight? :-)

Sucks about spending that kind of coin on a diff and not being 100% happy...

Pretty please get a tubing bender so I can have you bend me some new doorbars and I can cut my crappy ones out.....
I guess I hadn't yanked hard enough....rear u-joint of driveshaft is failing. So, that would be the source of the vibration I'm hearing/feeling.
    It's a driveshaft specialists from 2015.

    Fabbing a new section 1.
2.5" dual, no resonators, merge to 3" single at same location as OEM H pipe.

We'll see how this works. Hoping for the best of both worlds, screaming top end, some grunt between 3500-4500.

You keep this up, you will be able to open up a custom exhaust shop.

Everytime I do this, I scream "just buy it next time', and then I get stupid again.

I've been stumped with a long delay between engine start and measured oil pressure. Only happens after the engine sits for a few hours, so something is draining from somewhere. It's not the OFH. Builder doesn't quite understand it either.

So, I installed a 1qt accusump, just for startup pressure. $30 electric valve, manually switched. Pressure jumps to ~15psi on opening. Feels good.
I think I favor the Moroso accumulators over the Canton accumulators.
Canton advantage: slightly more capacity for the size of the accumulator.
Moroso advantage: the end caps are not screw in, but use large c-clips. Which means you can rotate them. With all the NPT fittings, this is BIG help in tight installs where you want the gauge and fittings to be in a very particular orientation.

I guess I just fully committed to no windshield wipers. lol

The s54 power steering pump isn't holding up? (I'm in the process of switching over now)

It's complicated. I have AN lines, a larger PS cooler, and still my PS fluid temps are ~320F.
(Maybe 275 tires plus SLR roll center kit causes that?)
Also, we have a banked turn at one of our tracks where I see 1.8Gs and the P/S cuts out.
And finally, the alure of a knob on the dash to dial steering boost, and no more ATF fluid smells, took me down this road.

However, the more I bench test the EPAS, the more questions I have.
The whole car is now just a science experiment.
