remove AC and EGR '79 733i

I want to remove EGR valve and related equipment and do the same with the AC system on this low mileage motor before installing in my '78 euro. Will motor run the same without these two systems. Any potential problems to be aware of?

I don't know about the effect of the egr ststem with the l-jet, but removing the AC won't make a bit of difference to the car.
Others with more knowledge will be along.

On my '79 I removed it all- thermal reactors/egr system/air pump... No ill effects and the car still passes CA smog!
