1989 BMW 525i

I have a 1989 BMW 525I and I replaced the fuel pump relay and I'm still getting just a crank but no turn over please help

Hello and welcome!

"Turns over" usually means the starter is turning the engine over, without any combustion/ignition taking place. "Fires" means the engine is successfully burning fuel to turn itself over.

Do you have spark? Pull a spark plug, connect it to its wire, use jumpercables to ground the threaded part to the body (I find the hood latches convenient), and turn the engine over while watching for spark. You may also notice fuel vapor shooting out of the hole. Check those two and report back.
