2010 328Xi wagon, BMW under-sized the brakes, pathetic excuse for front brakes. Is there an easy brake upgrade, maybe an M3 or other performance BMW that is a bolt-on deal? These little baby rotors warp if you look at them wrong.

Sure is my friend, search for this and enjoy some good reading and your new 370/345 brakes... and same setup work for yours with some light modification to rear parking brake if you have the smaller drum, as you will see but I think the XI might have same drum size as 335 but no issue either way.

They are fantastic btw, Cheers!

If you have the standard wheel and tire sizes (205 width on 16" rims), I'd say the tires are probably the weak point for stopping power. Either that, or there is some other problem with the brakes, i.e. shitty aftermarket pads or rusty rotors.
I'm in favor of the brakes being shite for this model.
I had the 2010 328xi Sports Wagon, up until recently.
Lovely car, seriously.
However, I would wreck rotors within 9 months, easy.
Yes, I like spirited driving.
No, I've never had this issue on any of my 11 other cars, 5 of which were/are BMW.
I went to Zimmerman D4000 Carbon perforated (not drilled), and when they went, I sold the car.
5 sets in 3 years... absurd.
All calipers were good. No heating when cruising.
No issues with intermittent wipers and the auto braking (intermittent on, the brakes self clear every once in a while).
No issues with the brake priming when releasing the gas peddle.
I let two garages change them, and I also did them myself to be sure.
I always used new pads, high quality, recommended by BMW (oem).
It's just a crap-shoot for brakes on that model in my opinion.
Yep, same deal, 12 months of easy driving and they are done, 328xi wagon, rears are fine, fronts are BS. Our G37 has real front brakes, over 14" dia, 1.25" thick and will rip your fing fillings out...........can you say "these will never ever warp I don't care how hard you drive". The 328 front brakes must be from a LeCar.

Found some real brakes (14.57" diameter, 1.2" thick), question is, is there a cheaper way to put together a kit using factory parts:

Get this instead, and look around and you may find a better deal. I paid $1700 I think for all 4... and look up “f30 performance brakes on 335” on forum... and you can see Install instructions and would recommend M3 master too if you do full kit, including tears, plus code for performance brakes if you have 328.

Good luck!
