    FS: 1985 BMW 325e (5-Speed) runs & drives - $3,000

Unfortunately I’m going to have to sell my beloved 85’ 325E.

    The good:
    • Manual!
    • "Recaro" sports seats
    • Starts up with ease every time I turn the key
    • Doesn’t leak anything
    • Doesn’t smoke
    • From what I’ve seen, rust free! From the research I’ve done the car lived in California until the 90s where it then moved to New Mexico...it has lived here ever since.
    • Fairly clean interior besides driver seat (look in the "bad" list to see why that is)
    • Clean title (in my name)
    • Sunroof and LED warning light panel work perfectly
    • Gold BBS RA 252 wheels give the car a great period correct look
    • Shifts are smooth (fairly new clutch)

    The bad:
    • A couple of cracks in the dash
    • Windows sometimes work, and sometimes don’t. I think it has something to do with the switches but I’m not completely sure.
    • AC switch needs to be rewired
    • Drivers seat is bent a little, already took the seat apart a little to try and fix the issue...just haven't had the time to go through with it. It's hard to work on a car in 15-25 minute increments. I've come to the conclusion that it's either a bent or broken bracket.
    • Needs new tires
    • Car can get a little shaky around 60-70ish MPH. Today I jacked the car up and looked at the suspension, everything looked good so I'm mostly sure its the tires (one tire is on the cords while the rest have a decent amount of tread + tires are cracking).

The car has 340,000 miles, however it drives 10x better than my old 528e with 150,000 miles. Allegedly, the guy that owned the car before the guy I bought it from rebuilt the engine...but that’s just hearsay so I won’t make any promises. The car is located in ABQ, NM. I’m willing to hold it for any out of state buyers.

The color of the car is “BMW diamantschwarz-metallic”.

I think $3,000 is a fair price for a rust free/very little rust, schwarz, running & driving E30 with sports seats, etc. etc. etc. But if you think my price is unreasonable let me know! Also - I would be happy to answer any questions.

I'll drive the the car to an artsy location and take some better pictures sometime this week. But for now these will have to do.

The first post you could not yet see, because you have less than 10 posts and there a moderator has to manually approve the posts, socalled spam-o-matic. So just be patient when you post and do not double post, that is up to 10 posts, from then on the posts will show up immy.
I moved the double post from FS cars to the E30 parts classifieds, as here more E30 fans will read it, no need to delete that here.
