Is my gas line loose

Cleaning my engine bay I notice that there is a lot of play in the gas line connection to the fuel injector rail, is this normal.

First picture pushing the line,
Second picture is pulling the line.

There is like 1/4 gap/play in the line.

Is this normal.

Is it leaking? That connection looks similar to the one used on the M54 engine. It’s ok if it can slide a bit.

Yes, normal. The seal is circumferential to the metal line, so the connector's placement horizontally on the line isn't important, so long as it's locked in place.

No leaks, I guess is normal based on responses.
