E85 stock sompression Vs Lowered with Pump Gas

I am curious which would be easier on the engine or if they would be equal:

    E85 S52
    -Stock compression
    -unopened long block
    -500whp precision 6262

    Pump 92octane S52
-lowered compresion with cutring and spacer
    -Stock long block
    -500whp Precision 6262

    Stock motor cutring e85 arp.

Or do low compression and flex fuel.

    500whp on pump and 600whp on e85.

Thanks! Would a stock unopened S52 have a chance with E85 and say 500whp if the tune was done in person?

I would rather not do the hg yet but realize I will eventually have to.

To give it a fighting chance you would at least need to replace the head bolts with ARP studs.

Ok thanks! Makes sense do the one at a time trick with the cams in wouldn't be too bad.

Yep you’ll need a arps above ~400whp or so.

    It’s a 20 year old head gasket?

Uhm, replace the HG. I mean it would suck if you somehow screwed up a perfectly good running S52 unless you like spending money. Poping a HG with boost sometimes does not end well.

    are slow.
Before I speak, the only person I'm aware of that has actually put this into practice is Someguy2800

But in my mind: It would probably be easier with a slightly bigger turbo. Really it's going to come down to efficiency. A 6466 would be awesome, and land you right in the middle of the efficiency range for it, though lagier than the 6262.

ARP studs would need to happen. This really isn't an option. If you want the stock gasket to stay in place, you'll need these.

There's no reason you couldn't hit 500whp on E85 with the stock compression and head gasket, but you're playing with borrowed time.

A 850 rwhp turbo to make 500 rwhp would not be my first choice.

    A 6262 an a stock S52 are a perfect match.

Buy the 600 rwhp turbo rather than the 900 rwhp turbo. When both are making 500 rwhp, I think both are making 500.
