2009 e60 ZF took a dump - need mechatronics solenoid source

Have been having some shifting oddities since I got it 5K ago. I did the sleeves and new pan/filter/fluid. Most notably there was still a hesitation when shifting from 3-4. DS mode seemed to make it better.

The other day climbing a hill it decided to get stuck in 4th or 5th. Could tell it was lugging so went to M mode but even though dash showed #s changing the trans was not. Right after that the "transmission malfunction" warning came up.

Limped it home (short distance). Today took it out, seemed OK until it tried to shift to 3rd or 4th, "malfunction" again. Stopped, turned off/on, but now no noticeable attempt to move in either D or R. Actually the RPM goes up just slightly going from N to D or R. In N there appears to be just the slightest desire to move forward, otherwise nothing. In N it rolls just fine so not an issue with park engagement.

Does this sound like a failing solenoid?

I plan to remove the valvebody and fully disassemble/clean it (I'm experienced in auto trans disassembly/repair, just not on this ZF).

Can anyone suggest a good source and PNs for replacing the solenoids? Unless someone can pinpoint a suspect one based on the above symptoms, I'd just assume shotgun it and replace all while it's apart.

Do a search and you will find what you seek. This is a well covered topic and you will find a few vendors that can help you. I cannot remember them offhand otherwise I would tell you.
