E60 Fold Down Rear Seat - Retrofit...possible?

Hi,


So, I've seen a number of E9X rear fold down seat retrofit DIY's, but none for the E60. I've got a 2010 535i without a rear fold down seat, and would like to add.


Thankfully local junkyards are starting to carry the E60, and I'm planning on sourcing the parts. But, what I do not know is if it's possible to retrofit.


Has anyone done the retrofit? Can I use pre-LCI seats for an LCI vehicle? I also noticed that some of the seats appeared to be heated. Possible to add?

I don't know if it's possible. Wouldn't the metal behind the seat have to be cut out?

Once saw a youtube video of this while looking for something else. Apparently it is possible but the amount of little parts was scary. anyway, there is a video out there for sure.

Definately possible as I have done it. I however did not install the pull releases as I did not have them. If I need to release them I must release them by climbing in trunk to release them and fold them down.
