Can anyone provide or post a link...I am looking for the torque specs for upper and lower control arms, the 3 bolts that bolt the control arm to the spindle, tie rod ends, centre link, steering arm, etc...
Any help would be appreciated...
This might be of assistance-

It would appear the specs are buried somewhere in there, but it's a convoluted torturous path to find anything...
Understood....that is why BMW dealer service techs are so expensive! ha ha
Try page 32-7 of the Torque Spec link. Look for E31.......
Good luck! / Henry
Thanks for the patience, and the advice...
I give up, I can find specs for every BMW except the E31...and when they E31 is mentioned, they use terms for components not used in the manual...
Is it too much to ask to have a chart that says "control arm ball joint to tie rod bracket: X NM"
Shaking my head at how such a simple task has befuddled me and reduced me to excepting that I must be a moron since I can't find the specs...
I completely replaced my entire front end. I tightened them all to "Good Enough"
