    Major issue with brakes.

It all started when the rear bushings had to be replaced because of alignment issues. They had to replace both brake lines due to major rust on the lines. This is where it all started.
NO F....g Brakes. or so little.

This E53 was braking okay before.

They followed the newTSI.info procedure as to HOW TO BLEED BRAKES AFTER LINES REPLACEMENT.

Actuated the ABS pump on auto-bleed mode AND after, pump the pedal 5 times on each wheels

    NO SUCCESS.

They replaced the master cylinder with a new ont NO CHANGE.

While they were at it, they noticed that the master was leaking (minimal ) air so they replaced it. NO CHANGE

While bleeding the brakes one of the front line busted so they replaced both sides NO CHANGE

While replacing the lines AND bleeding, one of the metal lines under busted so they replaced BOTH lines. STILL NO CHANGE.

every times they replaced something, they went thru the procedure without and improvement SO SAD.

Now I do not know what else to do.

    HELP.

    Update.............

They discovered that they HAVE to use DOT 4 LV instead of the original DOT 4.

Went through the whole procedure more than 5 times, ( ABS Autobleed and pump 5 times of brake pedal ) but no change the brake pedal is spongy, and you don't get the B'MW Braking power that it used to do.

    HELP

Yeah. I'm in the same spot after replacing my rear lines. But I didn't see the procedure for bleeding (ABS Autobleed + pump 5 times). Was looking for that info in ISTA but to no avail. I'll have to dig further.

Its in ISTA, just look for rear caliper replacement in technical documents. You should use DOT4 low viscosity and bleed starting with RR, LR, RF, LF calipers.
