    Second pair of rear calipers.

Hey guys. I'm using rear suspension from E39 in my project, and I'm wondering: Does someone put second pair of calipers for hand brake?

e brake is a drum brake internal to the rotor, cable operated by the lever. i do remember seeing a post on the other forum quite a while ago by an eastern European who did add a second caliper (for some reason) to change the e brake to hydraulic, with all the machining specs parts etc.

Have you actually examined the rear suspension? If so, you will have discovered the parking brake.

I believe what the OP is asking how would one install a second set of calipers for a special application use, i.e. to lock the rear wheels on a corner for sliding the rear around- AKA Drifting. All you will need is some fabrication skills and a caliper (Small and easy one-two bolt mount up)

Wilwood calipers should have something you are looking for. https://www.wilwood.com/Calipers/CaliperListLanding

    Lots of fab work required.
Maybe modify the hydraulic system and add 2 levers with their own hydraulic cylinders.

Yes, it is. It's an option on the car I'm building.
