Hey all
Bought a 90 325ic Bronzitbeige Auto this past year (2018) as a post chemotherapy present to myself.
Ive been chasing one since I've played need for speed [2015] and came across one in the game.
Anyways, i have no knowledge of these chariots of God but i am totally wanting to learn everything i can!
Shes got 110k miles on her and is relatively sound
The interior leather seats are all torn and [red paint] stains in the back.
I want to restore the interior and swap out to the original radio.
As far as performance, she's slow but she looks decent after the wheels i threw on her.
The PO whom bought it from [original] owner im hoping, was i volved in a front end collision, so im looking to rebend the frame, and as such, her hood, fenders, and bumpers are bent and need to be replaced.
Guess what im hoping for is some beginner's help here to understanding where i can start with her.
Message me on Facebook as well if its easier!

Welcome to the Forum!
There are plenty of old guys here who's second car was an E-30, so they still remember what it was like to drive them.
First and foremost, timing belt. It is a 4 year 50k mile replacement item, so one or the other, not both. If you cannot find the sticker or proof or replacement, yesterday was the mandatory date for replacement.
Next, the internet is full of info, however it is good to have these items on hand:
1) Hand tools - A basic 200 piece set of metric wrenches and socks, and will vary on how deep you want to get into the car.
2) Bentley shop manual. Stay away from Haynes, they don't get very specific on this car. Also you can google: BMW E-30 ETM that is the electric diagram for your car.
3) For the parts books, punch your last 7# of your vin here: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/select
4) There is also the TIS, look for the free version as there you will find all the Service Bulletins.
Have fun with the car, and we are always around to answer questions.
