I have a 2009 335i with xdrive sedan and was wondering if I could pull a cv axle from any other E90 and swap them out?all e9x 2006-2011
From what I’ve looked at they all seem to be exact in length and diameter. My old cv axle has welded itself so I’m replacing the whole spindle knuckle hub and cv axle.
Any input would be much appreciated!

Rear axles for automatic transmission cars interchange with other e90 xi models only.
Manual rear axles do not, according to bmw parts system. They are unique to 335xi manual.
