    MkIV maps

    This is embarrassing but I haven't found the answer yet while searching for it on my own.
    Will a map set being sold as

    2015 BMW Navigation DVD East & West HIGH Map Update 2 Disc Set iDrive 2016 MKIV

    work on my 2001 740i with the MKIV computer?

    I assumed yes but of course in the posting my year isn't listed as compatible naturally I suppose because there was no idrive yet?

    Thank you for any assistance on this.
