About 16k miles on my Conti all seasons. Still looking pretty good out back.

Control Contact Sport. I believe only Discount Tire carries them.

Nathan—did you consider Contiprocontact or Extreme Contact DWS06? Do you like the Control tires?

No complaints. I thought they were getting noisy, but that turned out to be wheel bearings. Dry grip is pretty decent, but I can chirp them pretty easily under hard cornering and braking. I did just do brakes though. For the price, quite satisfied. I'm running 225s all around, so I'm sure that contributes to the tossability. PO had 225s and I assumed all were 7.5" rims, but they turned out to be staggered. Oh well.

I just saw them at Discount and thought I'd give them a shot.

I still have my snow socks new in the box.

I picked up a set of (4) 7.5" DS2s, and may run dedicated snows this winter. My halftime job is up in the mountains so didn't worry about the odd storm prior. I might now.

I run blizzaks on some 15” e36 wheels that are like 205s and they’re great. I always bring the coupe out for the snow.

Now I have summers on 17” DS1s that are square so the grip difference is crazy lol

Blizzaks are hard to beat on ice and snow. Some use them for ice racing on our frozen lakes. We ran a set on my wife’s car through five Wisconsin winters. Great choice.
You can’t have everything. Where would you put it?

Michelin were OEM, not any other brand that year. So those were "upgrade" tires I guess.

When I bought my M Coupe, it had Michelin Pilot Sports on the car (the original Pilot Sport, not PS2, PS3, PSS, etc.). The date code was '06, I believe, so not the original tires, but possibly the second set of tires and bought at the dealer. Pilot Sports were the OE tire for the M Coupe/Roadster as well as the E39 M5. The changeover was '99 or '00, because prior cars had MXX3 (IIRC).

I run Sumitomo HTR Z III and have been very happy with them. They are great sticky tires.

Sumis just released HTR5 tires, I think I'm going to try those next time.
