Spring came to Texas so I opened the sunroof for the first time in a couple on months. When I closed it, it closed and then re-opened about 3". I assuming that is an safety re-open feature kicking in. Fortunately after I restarted it, the roof closed properly. But since I have been warned, where/what is the safety kick-back switch and how do I clean/replace it? Thanks Grady
PS/ The brake light and warning "check brake lining" as been mostly on since I changed the pads, rotors and sensors after Thanksgiving. As I pulled into my son's garage to fix the sensor, the light went out. I replaced the cheapo eBay (Chinese-ium) one with a Bova (sp?) from FCP and all seems happy now.
I looked on Real OEM and don't see a separate sensor, so I'm guessing it's part of the motor package and is torque related . I'll cleaning and lubing.
If the pop up wind deflector is worn then as the sunroof closes it just touches the deflector and reopens. The sunroofs and window have the built in safety feature so it wont close on your arm or fingers it's called anti trap
