Bavauto closed

Just received a email from Bavauto saying they closed their business as of March 8th. I always enjoyed my experience with them. Cheers, George

ECS picked up the BavAuto branded inventory, whether they picked up the IP to continue producing the brand I do not know.

I cant remember the last time I purchased anything from them, maybe 2004 when I let my CCA membership lapse. The loss of a competitor is not a good thing but they werent competitive whenever I bothered to check their prices. Margins are brutal, free shipping with a $49 purchase on most parts is a killer deal, lifetime warranty is a killer deal, I hope places like Blunttech, RMEuropean, AZ, eeuro, etc can stay competitive with ECS and FCP . . . and for all the problems people have with ECS, Ive ordered thousands of dollars worth of parts from them over the years (including very recently) and no complaints.
