Coding E60 M5 for aux input, or not

Been trying to code my E60 for aux input. The VIN pulls up fine and I even get the TRC files in the work folder. I have modified the code and tried to load the MAN files but I get error both ways. I tried breaking pin 7&8 with no change. I pulled files from my E39 with no problem. I have attached the error messages and an older BMW cable that may be worth a try.

Okay so here's what I have tried with no change. Broke connection between PIN 7&8. Reload software on both a XP laptop and a Win7 laptop. In all cases I can read the car with INPA but when I go to code with NCS I get the same error code. The only thing left is a different cable but according to Revitor the the code is not cable related.

I gave it another try yesterday. At this point I have coded my E38 and E39 with no problems. I went back to the E60 and pulled codes from a different module. Everytime I try to read the CAPPL I get the same error code.
