WTB Clean chrome shadow rear or full set

I bought a bit of a dodgy (visually) rear a while back and would love to replace it with something a bit more in line with the other 3 wheels on the car. I'm not opposed to buying a full set if the right one comes along.

Those are style 32s. If this was a joke it sadly went over my head.

No joke, the original eBay ad was for a set of minty Style 40s in Houston...click it again....the Style 32s are being shown as a suggestion by eBay since the Style 40s were sold... There should be a picture of the Style 40s you can click on however, to view the completed auction...

Ohhhh! Also, man oh man, they actually sold for $2600. That's halfway to those 3 piece 18" roadstars.

Fronts are actually still available from BMW, rears however, are not.

I have a set of red wheels, I can see if I can find the local shop that did a great shadowchrome on my M coupe wheels, they wont be original, but if originals are $2600... it might be a much cheaper alternative for a "driver" car

Shadowchrome you'd usually want in a set... or at least a front and a rear, to have each side match...

$2600 as set is insane. I doubt anyone in their right mid would pay that especially when brand new ones from BMW are still available for $600 a piece. There are plenty of scratched up ones on ebay for about $100 a piece, they all need to be refinished, though.
Havign said that, if you are thinking about getting rid of the red set, and its straight and true, let me know. I might be interested depending on the price.

    Thanks.

You think there's that much variance?

For dealing with all factory OEM original finish wheels, no. But if they've been refinished by different shops, then *hell* yes.
