    H&R springs, EDC/SLS car review

I finally swapped out the front springs while I was waiting for my valve covers to be powder coated. You can see they are much shorter than the originals. The car is definitely lower but not crazy low. The wheel gap looks even now front and rear, I may not even put the rear springs in when I do the 3.15 diff. As for the ride it's a little tighter up front, you can feel more of the small stuff in the road. That could be adjusted with tire pressure or a larger sidewall on a smaller wheel. Going over speed bumps feels okay but when the car is landing on the backside it almost feels like it bottoms out. I'll get the rears in and post some pics as well. the front is supposed to be a 2" drop and 1/2" for the rear. I want to keep the EDC and SLS intact because that was the way the car was built.

Would you be willing to part with the rear springs? If these fit non edc, I’ll buy them.

    edit: never mind...

Well I got the rear springs in and the new diff. The car is lower in the front for sure and the rear is about even. I could not find an official set up of the SLS other than measurements which won't work for the new springs.

I put the rear on ramps, loosened the U-bolt clamped to the sway bar, swung the valve arm to open the valve, let the car come to rest on the springs, retighten the U-bolt. This was done with the car off. I figure that the correct neutral setting is with the car at rest supported by the springs.

As for the springs they are stiffer than the stock springs for sure. It is not uncomfortable but a little bouncy over small stuff. I haven't really had a chance to lean on them and have not made it to the track with this car. After a good track day I will give an update.
