    Alpine Keyless Module 99M3

How many connections are there to this module? Are any of them unnecessary to achieving the remote lock/unlock function only (as opposed to the alarm, siren, etc). Which connection provides power?

I've located the module but connections have been detached. No light on the dash led. thank you

Main connector is the only requirement. LED, hood switch and siren are not required. However, if you have a known working paired remote, the siren tells you why it is not functioning by chirping (door, trunk, hood open). The four pin molex connector is not used on Coupes/Sedans, not sure on Vert.

You have an old car. Door, trunk, hood switches fail. These all prevent operation.

If you have anything that doesn’t look like the original BMW keyless module and harness, it is anyone’s guess. Post pictures.
