Just purchased this vehicle (45kmiles), 5 speed tranny, I want to change transmission fluid. I can get MTF LT-2 for $30-$40/liter or there is Febi Bilstein 40580 for $12. Is Febi Bilstein OK? Or spend the extra for OEM? or Redline? what kind of redline is good? Thanks in advance
Welcome to the M3 Forum!
This side doesn't get much traffic as the E-46 forum, so you many not get many reply's.
Oil is like voodoo magic, everybody has an opinion. If you want to stick with the OE fluid, then get the LT-2, which I have used in both of my E-46's. I have recommended to people to use the Redline MTL, if they are on a budget. IMO Febi/Bilstein should just stick with shocks.
