    Overheating Bimmer

My 2006 BMW 325 CI is overheating. I replaced the radiator, hoses, thermostat. It idled for 30 minutes , no over heating, drove it 7 miles & it overheated. Popped the hood & there’s coolant all over the engine bay. Making a weird noise but the engine isn’t knocking. The oil isn’t milky. No visible leaks.

Exactly what parts were replaced? What brands are the parts? Was the cooling system property blead?

The CI in 2006 would be an E-46.

I am betting a surge tank, or hose blew out. What I mean by hose blow-out is it wasn't properly attached, and when the pressure built, it came off.
