New battery, alternator working, the warning lamp on the dash shows a car on a lift and the manual says its an electrical system failure. Lights won't come on, no turn signals, no hazard lights. Engine fires right up and runs fine. Any ideas? There was a recall on the battery cable a while back but the dealer took care of that.

Codes?
If it's the frm module, foot well module which can be damaged just by replacing the battery, BMW extended the warranty on the thing you would have to run the vin thru the dealer and it would be attached to the vin, but faults first
Sounds like the FRM, but can't say for certain. How many miles and what year model? Post me the last 7 digits of the VIN, and your mileage. I can check to see if you have the warranty extension.

You guys nailed it, it was the FRM and it was covered by BMW. Looks like I just sneaked in since its 8 years old w/102k, lucky me. I scanned it with Auto Enginuity and it was useless, giving me "Unknown Trouble Code Description, see factory service guides". So I took it to the dealer and I am all fixed for free, thanks for the help!
