Had a quick question, involving headgaskets.
A while ago i put new oil and new coolant in my 325i (m50b25) and took it around the block and ran it for it bit to get everything situated. Came back to an Oil Cap milky. This also happened before the oil change and coolant change. No smoke out the tailpipe. No Oil in coolant, Temp. Gauge reads fine, but the block is really hot. Is this a Head Gasket or Cracked Head or just a leaking line somewhere?
The only way to tell is to do a compression check on all cylinders. One or 2 cylinders will have a markedly lower reading.
Goo inside the oil cap can be condensation combined with some oil.
"the block is really hot" not sure what that means but a running engine tends to be that way and your gauge isn't indicating any trouble.
Don't overthink this. You've not described any overheating so I'd run it on the highway to dry out the crankcase.
