Hi,
I'm thinking about changing up the exhaust on my 98 2.8L z3. So far I've found the supersprint for about $800 and the manga flow, however I was told that there were cheaper options like ansa or something. I'm also considering deleting the resontator and just getting a muffler. What do you think is the best course of action? I want to keep it below $500 and want a deeper and slightly louder sound. Nothing too droney or rice
See my Magnaflow thread I just updated for things to consider on that system.

I have a Magnaflow for sale that fits your car if you're interested. It sounds just like the Supersprint I replaced it with.

I sent you a message about it
I went the cheaper route, exactly 170 for cut and also custom pipes/tips
I did a muffler delete and WOW it sounds incredible yes in my jurisdiction it isn't exactly allowed but its easy to just not be on the throttle when its not time to be on the throttle it sounds incredible with a muffler delete. but up to you

I’ve never tried it.
I plan on getting around to this eventually...
If you go with the new exhaust you might change the airflow and require a tune?
