Definitely not oil temp in that graph. You didn't get to 330F and just keep trucking. You also didn't drop 60 degrees in one lap without coasting.

Sensor, ground wire, Math problem (number displayed is always a calculation), ECU reading wrong sensor and reporting as oil temp - no way that number is correct.

Yeah COMZ3 is right. That's not the oil temp channel.

Did you define it yourself or is that the AIM protocol definition?

I just recently got the AIM SOLO2 DL. I'm using the e 46 M3 CAN protocol. (I have an S54 M Coupe). It does not read everything, I can get RPM, Pedal Position, brakes on/off, oil and water temps along with steering angle. If I'm driving normally, the temperatures look fairly reasonable. (screenshot from a street drive today). Since the track day above, I have changed the oil level sensor since I would occasionally get the low oil light only to find it was normal when I checked it.

I did notice the oil temp gauge spike last time at the track, usually the hottest is shows is 260/270. but it was pegged at max only to come down fairly quickly.
