We lost a member of our group today.

For those that have not heard, Erv Colon, username Bke36Is, passed away this morning in a car accident. Erv was a really great guy and I enjoyed talking with him.

    Sad day.

One of only a few to make it to the drag "short list".

We lost a member of our group today.

I met Erv at Orlando Speed world a few years ago. His E36 inspired me to get into BMWs, I appreciate him to this day. He let me take photos of his build to help me with mine. I still have his business card in my wallet... He was such a big help. My thoughts go out to his family. Rest in peace.

I did not know him, but if I remember correctly, he had a drag build.

Either way, condolences to his family and friends. I’m sorry for their loss.

Sad to see this... I've watched many of his videos on Youtube etc and he seemed like an instantly likeable sort of guy. RIP.

Very sad news, I personally know the boy, and he was very kind and sweet, I am very sorry, I am very sorry for the family. Who knows more about the cause of death ? I heard that he had an accident due to the rainy time outside and the wet road, the driver lost control of the steering wheel and crashed into a tree. I'm really sorry about this guy, because I'm on this forum, because he convinced me to buy a bmw, and I don't regret making the choice. Guys in case of an accident in the future, here more information you can find out on the website but i hope you don't need this information.
